Waiting

Young couples are sleeping early in the morning, the time when people don't really care about their appearance and one can see their attitude to each other and to this little life that is growing inside their family.

The project consists of 40 images (as 40 weeks in pregnancy).

“Waiting”是俄羅斯攝影師Jana Romanova完成於2011年的一個私人拍攝項目，在這個項目中，攝影師拍攝了一系列即將成為父母的年輕情侶在清晨熟睡的樣子，籍此來呈現人們在這一人生階段特殊的狀態與神情。 

“幾年前，我突然發現，幾乎所有的朋友都已經成為準父親和母親，這讓我十分震驚。因為我依然無法想像如果沒有旅行和促膝長談的夜晚，生活將如何繼續。當我還在放縱自己的幼稚時，我最欣賞和親近的人們都已經開始成為一個真正的成年人，做好承擔真正責任的準備，承擔一個家庭。於是，我開始拍攝我的朋友們，在他們最私人的場所來記錄他們等待的過程，他們等待的並不僅僅是一個新的生命，也是他們整個人生的改變。”
