Surfing with the dolphins: Surprise early morning visitors ride waves at Bondi Beach


Surfers taking on the waves off Sydney's famous Bondi Beach had their session interrupted when these inquisitive dolphins joined the fun.
A group of around half a dozen surfers had been catching waves along the famous surf spot when they had unexpected visitors today.
Several dolphins leapt crashed through the waves just metres away from their human companions.

Born to swim: The dolphins were spotted crashing the surfers' party just a month after a pod of 50 were seen near the same spot in Sydney



On the move: Dolphins cover huge distances during migration and at this time of year they head south to the cooler waters.
